Laughing Cow Cheese

I love cheese! It was one of my biggest weaknesses Pre-Medifast.  The cheesier, the better!! So I loved when I found Laughing Cow! It isn't exactly the cheesy goodness of gobs of Cheddar Cheese, but one wedge is On Plan, and counts as one snack.  It is really good, and a nice alternative when I want some cheese.  The Laughing Cow Cheese comes in many different flavors.  I have only tried the Mozzarella, Sun-Dried Tomato, & Basil flavor so far.  I also like that the cheese comes packaged in individual wedges, or servings.  So no fudging on the serving size. :-)

PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter

I love Peanut Butter! I love to add a little bit of Peanut Butter to my shakes occasionally and I have found this wonderful alternative.  It is a much healthier option.
PB2 is made from Peanuts that are slow roasted and then pressed to remove the fat.  It comes in a powder form.  Once you mix 1tbsp of water with 2tbsp of PB2, you get the same consistency as real peanut butter, and it only has 1.87 grams of fat!!  It also comes in a chocolate flavor.
PB2 can be ordered online at http://www.bellplantation.com/

 Egg Beaters

Eggbeaters are Egg Whites with added natural flavoring and a few spices added.  I was hesitant about trying them, because I tried eating scrambled Egg Whites once, and I wasn't impressed with the flavor.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the taste of Egg Beaters.  My husband loves them as well, and from now on..... I'm not buying real eggs anymore, unless I plan on making Deviled Eggs or something.  I'm only buying Egg Beaters.

Egg Beaters can be used in any recipe in place of an egg.  1/4 cup Egg Beaters = 1 large Egg.  It is lower in Calories and has no Cholesterol.  Look at this comparison below:

Boca Burgers
Boca Burgers are a Soy (Meatless) Burger.  When I first started my diet, I went out and purchased 4 boxes of this product.  They sat in my freezer for nearly 2 weeks before I got up enough courage to try one.  I was NOT impressed.

I heated the Burger in the Microwave, and as soon as  I took it out, my stomach heaved in protest.
It was........... slimy!  YUCK!!  I carried my plate to the table and stared at it for several minutes trying to psych myself up to taste objectively without any preconceived ideas.  I topped with some Mustard, and dug in.  While the flavor was not great, it was edible.  I ate one Patty and my husband ate the other.  He on the other hand had no problem eating it, and liked it.

I told myself I would have this again for dinner sometime soon, but I never could bring myself to make it again.  It still sits in my freezer.  I have found an alternative product I like better.  See that Review below.

Garden Burgers

I had just about given up on "Meatless" burgers, but while at my Mom's house she encouraged me to try the Garden Burgers.   She fixed us 2 Garden Burger Patties with some steamed Broccoli.  We ate our Burgers with Buffalo Sauce (that would typically be added to Chicken Wings).

After my experience with the Boca Burger,  I was extremely Leery about trying the Garden Burger.  The Garden Burgers were prepared in the same way the Boca Burger was....... microwaved.  Straight from the microwave, it was  a huge improvement.  NO SLIME!  And I really liked the taste.

The Garden Burger is comprised mainly of vegetables (mushrooms, water chestnuts, onions, green bell peppers, red bell peppers, and black olives). It also contains Soy.  Although chocked full of veggies, I did not get an overwhelming Vegetable taste.  I was really pleasantly surprised at how good the burger was.  I now eat it for dinner several times a week.

Pizza Burger
I found a new Favorite! Morning Star Tomato & Basil Pizza Burger! This burger is so delicious!! When making it in the microwave, my husband came in and said "I smell Pizza!!".  While it DOES smell like pizza when cooking, it doesn't exactly taste like pizza.  With that said, it has a very good flavor.  I love it!  With this "meatless burger" I do not need to add any condiments, it is good as is.  Last night, however, to "spice it up" I decided to try a slice of Laughing Cow Mozzarella, Sun-Dried t
